Across our family of scientists, activists, experts, and governments all across the world, our first priority today is making sure everyone is safe, and that we are all doing whatever is needed to reckon with COVID-19. Our hearts are with our partners. Through this difficult moment, we remain committed to moving our collective work forward. Many timelines and plans may shift, and we look forward to working with our partners to adapt and adjust as needed, but if this moment has reminded us of anything, it's this: it's redoubled our appreciation of the fragility of life on this planet, and the connections between all of us. This is a time when all of us feel vulnerable, but we can all also feel motivated, too. At Blue Prosperity Coalition, we are, and we will remain so.

A coalition of NGO’s, academic institutions, foundations, and other organizations working together to assist committed governments in developing and implementing sustainable marine spatial plans to protect the environment and improve the economy at the same time.

Providing expertise, funding, and tools to create a comprehensive Marine Spatial Plan, the Blue Prosperity Coalition aims to promote growth and prosperity while empowering sustainable management of marine resources and ecosystems.

BLUE PROSPERITY COALITION
1. Our oceans need URGENT protection.
2. We can improve both the ENVIRONMENT and the ECONOMY
at the same time.
3. At least 30% OCEAN PROTECTION is required.
4. Protection is best achieved via COMPREHENSIVE, SCIENCE-
BASED plans in consultation with key stakeholders.
5. Working together with committed Government leadership,
we can achieve SUSTAINABLE and PRODUCTIVE oceans.
